Michael Friel State Farm is seeking a service-driven Customer Service Representative who enjoys helping people, solving problems, and delivering a high-quality customer experience. Licensing Requirement (Job Contingent)
This position is contingent upon obtaining required insurance licensing.
• Property & Casualty license must be obtained prior to your Day 1 start (full support provided) • We provide guidance, study support, and resources to help you successfully complete the licensing process
Role Overview
As a Customer Service Representative, you will serve as a key point of contact for customers, supporting policy needs, resolving inquiries, and ensuring a positive customer experience. This role is service-first, while also providing opportunities to contribute to growth by identifying additional coverage needs through thoughtful, needs-based conversations.
Success in this role is measured by customer satisfaction, retention, and contribution to agency growth.
Responsibilities
Answer customer inquiries and provide clear, accurate policy information
Assist customers with policy changes, endorsements, billing questions, and account updates
Support customers through claims-related questions and follow up as needed
Build strong relationships that support retention and long-term customer satisfaction
Identify opportunities to strengthen coverage and pivot service conversations into in-book sales
Maintain accurate and detailed records of all customer interactions
Collaborate with agency team members to deliver a seamless customer experience
Ensure compliance with agency standards and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills
Problem-solving mindset with a focus on customer experience
Comfortable discussing coverage options and identifying opportunities when appropriate
Prior customer service experience preferred
Ability to meet licensing requirements outlined above
