Michael Friel State Farm is seeking a remote Account Manager with at least 1 year of State Farm sales experience who is highly skilled at working internet leads, quoting policies, and closing business.
This is a sales-first position designed for someone who thrives on production, follow-up, and converting inbound opportunities into written policies. If you are confident handling internet leads, comfortable asking for the sale, and motivated by performance-based income, this role offers strong earning potential.
This is not a passive service role. The primary focus is generating new business and maximizing lead conversion.
Licensing Requirements
• Active Property & Casualty license required • Active Life & Health license required • Candidates must be fully licensed prior to starting
Required Experience
• Minimum 1 year State Farm agency sales experience • Experience working internet leads and inbound quote opportunities • Proven ability to quote, present, and close policies
Role Overview
As a Remote Account Manager, you will be responsible for converting inbound internet leads into new policies, conducting needs-based conversations, and driving agency growth through strong sales performance.
Success in this role is measured by lead conversion, production, and written premium.
Key Responsibilities
Respond quickly to internet leads and inbound quote requests
Quote and close auto, home, renters, and life insurance policies
Conduct needs-based conversations to identify coverage gaps
Follow up consistently to convert quotes into bound business
Cross-sell additional policies to increase household coverage
Maintain organized pipeline management and strong follow-up
Track activity and production toward monthly sales goals
Collaborate with agency leadership to drive growth
What We’re Looking For
Minimum 1 year State Farm sales experience
Fully licensed in Property & Casualty and Life & Health
Experience working internet leads and digital prospects
Strong closing ability and sales confidence
Disciplined follow-up and pipeline management
Highly motivated and goal-oriented
Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
