Customer Relations Representative – Service & In-Book Sales

The Friel Agency is seeking a Customer Relations Representative who can balance excellent client support with in-book sales growth opportunities.
This is a fully licensed role (Property & Casualty and Life & Health). If you are not currently licensed, you must be willing to obtain your licenses with our full support.
Role Description
As a Customer Relations Representative, you’ll be the first point of contact for our clients, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and care. You’ll resolve inquiries, manage accounts, and contribute to customer satisfaction, while also pivoting to identify in-book sales opportunities that strengthen client protection and fuel agency growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Service Excellence – Manage customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide timely solutions.
- Support Retention – Assist with customer retention strategies through relationship-building and consistent follow-up.
- Identify Opportunities – Recognize in-book sales prospects and pivot conversations toward coverage upgrades and additional policies.
- Stay Organized – Maintain accurate customer records and ensure updates are handled promptly.
- Collaborate with the Team – Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth service delivery.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- A service-first mindset with the confidence to engage in sales conversations.
- Ability to remain calm and effective in high-stress situations.
- Previous customer service experience preferred; sales background a plus.
- Licensed in Property & Casualty and Life & Health (or willingness to obtain with agency support).

          Compensation $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
